NFPA 101®,
The Life Safety Code, is the most widely used document in the
United States for assuring life safety in the event of a fire.
It has been adopted as law in approximately 2/3 of the states
(including Oklahoma) and by countless local jurisdictions. NFPA
101®
is intended to provide reasonable safety for building occupants
in case of fire or similar emergencies. It has application in
the building design and construction stages and also after
buildings are completed and occupied. |
